My sister's daughter Vanessa is now 21 years old and is hit very strong with this illness. She has also epileptic siezures with this condition.
My sister went through hard time during this event of her life when finding out this condition in her daughter. Going back and forth to the hospital until it was discovered as an infant that she was diagnosed with Autism. She was still in diapers until a couple years ago and needed help to be fed at all times. She always laughs as she looks at you with a big smile. Loves to listen to music and watches movies. She does not like being around lots of people she will scream to get her away from it. She is very intelligent when she co-ordinates her toys in a order that you would be amazed to watch her play.
I also have a nephew, his name is Antonio, he is going to be 16 years old this October, but he is not it the same as Vanessa. He loves being on the computer and loves to always listen to Barney. He attends a special needs school just for Autism. He loves to hug you and he always smiles too.
You have to be always on guard with him because he does not speak and does not hear very well, I worry that he walks out with even knowing it. He is a bit very fast to act up.
I just need to share this story because, I just wish there would be a cure for them and all those like my nephew, Antonio  and my niece Vanessa.
The world would be a better place, if we can help to find a cure for this illness.
