Bring out a tent and camping gear. Include canteens, plastic lanterns, mess kits, pans, plastic food, sleeping bags, camp chairs, coolers, etc. You get the idea. Next provide many dress up options such as bandanas, hiking boots, hats, flannel shirts, backpacks, etc. You can bring in a small wading pool to use for pretend fishing and place stuffed animals around for a forest atmosphere. They can cut out pictures of fish, or make them using a fish template, tracing around it and cutting them out of construction paper. Snacks are served in the tent or around a pretend campfire circle. One story I always use is "Smokey the Bear Camping Handbook" which teaches them all about camping and safety rules. Set up your campsite, and hold classes here. They became so successful, that they graduated in nine years, over 5, .000 High School Students, and helped place them in jobs, and colleges; no one in the C.S.R.A (the Central Savannah Regional Area/Georgia-Carolina) thought that they would accomplish. Mr. Beckles, Sr., had long since retired in 2003, but his son has, despite all odds and opposition; carried on the legacy of C.A. I Academy. He relocated, to Augusta GA. With the exception of some holidays. The after school program will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00pm. Except on Wednesdays. Martial Arts class will be held on Thursdays 6 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. The weekly fees are as follows: 3 years and up?????????$105 Monthly fees: Martial Arts Class????????$150 After school program???????.$100 Other fees: Field trips????????????$20 (Field trip fees are due at the time of the field trip) Note: Children with special needs will not be accepted unless needs can be met. The director will make this determination. The full weekly fee will be charged for any child present or absent unless a Dr.?s excuse is provided. ½ the weekly fee will be charged. A $35 registration fee is charged for each child at enrollment. This fee must be paid yearly. The center will be closed the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day Payments are due on Fridays. If not paid on Monday the following week, a $10.00 late fee will be added to the bill daily. Bills must be paid on time on Fridays. Parents are encouraged to discuss their concerns and questions with the director. All parents have access to the center at any time your child is attending the center. A copy of the State Rules & Regulations which apply to the operation of the center is available upon request. Field trips will be taken to community centers, public library, river walk, Chuck E. Cheese with written consent from parents. Parents will be notified when the event will take place. Each child must have change of clothing in the center in the event of emergency. All clothing must be marked. Dress your child according to the day. The center is not responsible for toys brought from home. All enrollment forms must be completed prior to child attending center. Health Status Review Report and Immunization Records signed by a physician/health source must be turned in prior to child attending center annually. Children who are ill may not remain in the center. Parents will be called and are required to pick their child/children up. When a communicable disease is introduced into the center parents will be informed. If your child has missed days in the center due to medical reasons, a Dr.?s excuse is mandatory upon return. Parents are required to escort their children in and out the center at all times. Children may not bring food to the center. Snacks and meals will be provided, except in the case of allergies and a special diet from a physician. Each preschool child in the center is required to take a nap or rest period each day. The Children?s Christian Center will give out graduation certificates. Wall decoration with student photos. Qualifications of a family day care provider is to be at lease 21 yrs of age. Have a satisfactory criminal records check and finger printing through live scan process. Requirements for a family day care provider is to have pre-registration training and high school diploma. CPR and First Aid training also required. Other employees or adults that come in contact with the children also must have a criminal background check. That includes all persons that resides in the home and performs duties at the home. They became so successful, that they graduated in nine years, over 5, .000 High School Students, and helped place them in jobs, and colleges; no one in the C.S.R.A (the Central Savannah Regional Area/Georgia-Carolina) thought that they would accomplish. Mr. Beckles, Sr., had long since retired in 2003, but his son has, despite all odds and opposition; carried on the legacy of C.A. I Academy. He relocated, to Augusta GA. Where the school & college drop out rate are doubled! And he re-established a new private school, to educate, and take care of the children of single mothers, and working women, who desperately need a daycare system, that fits their busy work schedules. With the exception of some holidays. The after school program will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00pm. Except on Wednesdays. Martial Arts class will be held on Thursdays 6 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. The weekly fees are as follows: 3 years and up?????????$105 Monthly fees: Martial Arts Class????????$150 After school program???????.$100 Other fees: Field trips????????????$20 (Field trip fees are due at the time of the field trip) Note: Children with special needs will not be accepted unless needs can be met. The director will make this determination. The full weekly fee will be charged for any child present or absent unless a Dr.?s excuse is provided. ½ the weekly fee will be charged. A $35 registration fee is charged for each child at enrollment. This fee must be paid yearly. The center will be closed the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day Payments are due on Fridays. If not paid on Monday the following week, a $10.00 late fee will be added to the bill daily. Bills must be paid on time on Fridays. Parents are encouraged to discuss their concerns and questions with the director. All parents have access to the center at any time your child is attending the center. A copy of the State Rules & Regulations which apply to the operation of the center is available upon request. Field trips will be taken to community centers, public library, river walk, Chuck E. Cheese with written consent from parents. Parents will be notified when the event will take place. Each child must have change of clothing in the center in the event of emergency. All clothing must be marked. Dress your child according to the day. The center is not responsible for toys brought from home. All enrollment forms must be completed prior to child attending center. Health Status Review Report and Immunization Records signed by a physician/health source must be turned in prior to child attending center annually. Children who are ill may not remain in the center. Parents will be called and are required to pick their child/children up. When a communicable disease is introduced into the center parents will be informed. If your child has missed days in the center due to medical reasons, a Dr.?s excuse is mandatory upon return. Parents are required to escort their children in and out the center at all times. Children may not bring food to the center. Snacks and meals will be provided, except in the case of allergies and a special diet from a physician. Each preschool child in the center is required to take a nap or rest period each day. The Children?s Christian Center will give out graduation certificates. Wall decoration with student photos. Children and parents are encouraged to join our Karate and Bible club and also our marital arts class and chapel services Children will be permitted to play out doors on the playground daily. Requirements for a family day care provider is to have pre-registration training and high school diploma. CPR and First Aid training also required.
