I’m going to start the ball rolling with my own story.
I'm 61 years old and never been involved in MLMs like a lot of people. So I don't have failures to talk about - My first attempt has been the most incredible adventure I've ever experienced. Since being involved with my candle business, I never seem to worry about aches and pains, bad decisions made by my children. I concentrate on building this business and watching it grow every day - and that's no bull@#$%. I received my first residual check (over $40) after my very first month in this business, my second one more than doubled (over $90), then my third one tripled that (over $300). They have been consistenly growing each month after that. That's in addition to my retail sales profit. Now, I can’t take a Caribbean Cruise just yet with my residual income, but it is consistently over $300 a month now, and that’s just in less than 6 months of promoting this business. My retail sales profit is usually in the 1K range per month. Not bad, since I do most of my business sitting right here at my computer. I haven’t tapped the fundraiser market yet, but that’s my next goal. You see, I’m building this business one step at a time, kind of like a baby, since its my first attempt at not going to work in an office every day. Something I did for over 40 years before I found this. I don’t make as much when I was a paralegal, but I don’t have to get out of my house every day and put up with lawyers either. And THAT’S A GOOD THING, believe me.
I've only been in this business since February of this year (2007) - gave the Candle of the Month to myself as a birthday present. Now, I have calls every day from people praising the products and wanting more.
I've just started building online networking efforts, and some of them are really bogus - like a lot of the MLMs out there that promise everything and deliver nothing.
