In 2010, I became one of Climate Champions and a member of the international Climate Champions program. Climate Change is one of the British Council’s Science Projects, working to strengthen networks and relationships among decision makers, influencers and future leaders worldwide to tackle climate change. One of the programs under Climate Change is the international Climate Champions program, which uses cultural relations to produce a sustainable global network of young people developing climate solutions which address climate change in their own communities. In 2011, I was one of the local Climate Champions of a local project entitled “Solar Powered Canopies” that was approved by the British Council.
