XAT 2013 Exam

XAT also known as XLRI admission test is an All-India test conducted by XLRI, a business school in Jamshedpur, India. The XAT exam is conducted in the month of January for admission to the Xavier’s school of management, one of the premier management institutes of India that came into existence in 1987 with the efforts of the government and the Jesuit society. The Xavier’s institute is one of the most technology intensive campuses in India. A students aspiring to enrol in MBA can simply decide to apply for the XAT 2013 exam which will be conducted on Sunday 6th January 2013. For more than 60 years, XLRI has been conducting test at all India level to select the most appropriate for management education. Moreover, the test score is being used b y more than 100 institutes for the admission.

As far as the exam pattern is concerned, it is important for every aspiring candidate to know about the details and information associated with this examination, the XAT is a two hour long exam and is divided into three or four sections of multiple-choice questions that test quantitative ability, verbal and interpretation, logical thinking skills of the candidate that can also be called as mathematics, English and reasoning skills. Applying for the XAT 2013 is no more difficult now. The candidate should register on the official website of XAT online. Once, the candidate has registered, he/she will be sent a XAT ID and password to the candidates email ID. Using this ID and password, the candidate can log into the official website to complete the application form and a XAT pay slip will be generated which should be printed because with the slip, the candidate will pay the application fee of Rs 900/ at any Axis bank branch.

However, the application fee can also be paid online using the online payment mode. The print out the XAT registration confirmation page, along with the institute copy of the pay slip should be sent to the XAT office, XLRI, circuit house area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days from the date of payment. To obtain admit cards, official website of XAT online can be visited and a print out of the same where the address of the test centre will be mentioned. Before applying for the XAT exam, make sure you have enough for preparation because the XAT exam is no less than the CAT exam.
