In the United States, a professional pharmacist is one of the highest entry-level salaries under the allied health professionals so that there is a continuing increase of applicants who want to study in pharmacy schools. A pharmacy school in the U.S., offers the professional degree of Doctor of Pharmacy, and the primary admission criteria for most pharmacy schools would include completion of a two-year or four-year undergraduate degree, acceptable score on the Pharmacy College Admission Test, personal statement or statement of purpose, letter of recommendation or references, and personal interview.
