Dementia, more and yet less
With the aging of the population, the number of people with dementia is likely untenable to walk on. But in recent years has been evident a relative decline off.

Good news, because it opens a door to prevention.
Dementia, more and yet less
We are all systematically older and most people find it best. But dementia is a disease of increasing age and that frightens people .Especially now that the populous generation of baby boomers a good old age begins to reach.

Decrease in the increase
Dementia figures will explode, so we are frightened but are this true, because recent reports indicate a decrease in the percentage of people who end up in dementia. And that's good news. See More Info: Kyle Leon Scam

The top in the medical world, the New England Journal of Medicine, put some facts and infers we probably dementia may occur in part.

In the U.S. and in Europe
The first signal of a possible decline came back in 2005 from the United States. The number of people with dementia was reduced from 5.7% in 1980 to around 2.9% by 2000.

In 1993, 12.2% of the American people over 70 showed some form of mental decline. In 2002 it was only 8.7%.

Three recent European studies show a similar optimistic picture. The Rotterdam study in 2000 had fewer cases of dementia among its people over 55 than in 1990.
