Will kitchen robots change the way we eat?
by Lynda Bradley RationalStatAutonomous Things (AuT) or The Internet of Autonomous
Things (IoAT) is now the standard. In the end, there are drivers-free
automobiles. Are we ready to have an uncooked kitchen? The robotic arms move
from the lab to the kitchen.
In the era of artificial intelligence and robotics, even
the food we eat is set to be disrupted, and that could alter the way we cook.
All over the world, investors are pumping cash into "food-tech"
start-ups.
Tech gurus are developing technologies to study the
ingredients that are used in recipes, food trends, and the tastes of customers.
It will transform the way we shop and consume food, just as technology has
revolutionized how we purchase music.
For example, before the new startups, technological
advances are already making it easier to deliver food. A mobile app is now able
to automate the shopping lists you make on your smartphone. It is possible to
find recipes online and then make use of apps to include items required in the
recipe to your list. It is possible to refer to this list while shopping at the
supermarket or at some market you can use it to make a purchase from the
delivery service. There is now information about the food you eat and your
preferences which can provide a recipe that is based on what it has learned
about you prefer.
Tech geniuses also studying the mechanics of cooking. For
instance, ex-Apple developers have designed an oven named June that is designed
to recognize the food it is served in and cook it in a perfect manner. It is a
"computer-based oven that thinks like a chef." It is also a step
towards becoming a kitchen that can cook on its own.
The world is on the verge of the creation of a machine
that knows all you need to know regarding the food pairings and be able to
build a complete knowledge of the preferences of those it serves food, cook and
serve.
Robotics are improving so fast that there's no reason why
robot cooks won't leave their mark in the first food processing companies and,
later, in homes.
If you want to call them robots or simply automatized
kitchen equipment, they will be in the near future for fast food. Machines are
becoming more adept at learning and replacing human beings more quickly than
they have ever. The latest innovation in this area is a machine that can taste
food. It's not just able to taste food, but it also can taste it while cooking food!
This further results in the robot being able to recognize the taste of food
throughout the various phases of chewing when eating by humans.
Your Robotic Chef Will Cook Anything You Want
It doesn't matter whether you're either a male or female.
All of us are human and must take food. This is why we cook. Cooking is
exciting and fascinating however, it could require a whole day to cook your favorite
food.
A full day of cooking is a wonderful thing to do on weekends
or during your free time. You probably have an hourly or part-time job, and
you're not able to spend a lot of hours preparing three times a day. This is
why you either take food orders or eat out. When you do this you will save a
lot of time and can use your time more effectively.
While it sounds fantastic, however, there are some
drawbacks. If you buy food too often, you'll know that your costs will increase
each month dramatically. Particularly, your costs will increase for healthy
meals.
If you are concerned about your own health and only order
healthy meals and you are a vegetarian, it is more expensive. In the near
future, food ordering issues will be solved by your robot cooker. There are
already basic devices that cook in a controlled manner and do not require human
intervention throughout the cooking process such as multicooker. AI robots will
replace smart appliances in the near future.
This is great news. If you are looking to take care of
your family, your robot cooker will prepare an exquisite meal from your favorite
restaurant. Your entire family can enjoy the most exotic dishes you've always
desired to.
Cooking Robot Market
RationalStat Forecast that the global market for cooking robots is expected to experience
an explosive growth rate of more than 15% during the time between 2019 and
2028. The key growth factors include increasing demand for professional robots
and cobots within HoReCa, along with the increasing number of innovations and
initiatives that are anticipated to drive the development of the cooking
robots.
