Why Internet is Indispensable

And why not, gone are the days when internet would only be available on our personal computers. It has made its way through our laptops, tabs and cell phones. Internet is almost portable now and that too with extremely fast access. All thanks to the 3G Data Card and Dongles that are avaiable these days.
If we weigh the advantages and disadvantages of internet and its use these days, the list of advantages are sure to outweigh the list of disadvantages. Internet has become a partand parcel of our life. Information, probably is the biggest benefit we draw from the internet. Even when we have a minor doubt about anything, it is the internet we consult the first. It has somehow become a very reliable source of information. The search engines like Google, Yahoo, rediff are always at your service on the internet. There is a huge amount of information available on the Internet for just about every subject known to humankind, ranging from government law and services, market information, new ideas and technical support, mythology, entertainment etc.
Entertainment is another major reason why a lot of people prefer to surf the internet. In fact, the internet has become quite successful in trapping the multifaceted entertainment industry. Downloading games, music, interesting softwares or just surfing the celebrity websites are some of the uses people are often found doing. Even celebrities are using the Internet effectively for their own and their project’s promotional campaigns. Social networking sites are not to be forgotten. They are of special mention as they are the sole reason for internet consumpation for many people, according to a survey, although age group of the users vary.
Social networking sites like facebook, twitter do not only serve the purpose of entertainment these days, in fact they are potential platforms for brands to promote their products or services. They are the best mediums these days to garner engagement in their ‘pages’ in these sites which in turn act as a great platform to spread awareness and brand recognition and reinforcement amongst the minds of the users. So we can also conclude that internet is a paradise for marketers nowadays. Internet, to a great extent, has helped bringing the world closer. Receiving news from across the world, accessing knowledge resources, and shopping online are simply a click away. The Internet has tremendous potential and a lot to offer in terms of services. However, like every other innovation in science and technology.
Internet in a way, has made our life easy and life without internet is almost unimaginable now. Although there is a life beyond the dependency of internet, we cannot deny the fact that internet is inevitable in our daily lives now.
