I've like the idea of working for myself, from the first time I worked for someone else as and adult. But I didn't do anything about it until I had my first child. I knew I wanted to be an at home mom. Yet I knew that it takes two incomes to sustain a family. That started my journey to self employment. My mom was had a home day care and she making fairly good money. That led me to open my own home day care, Then me and my mom combined and opened A larger Day care Center. It worked for a while, but day care is a hard business and you don't have a lot of flexibility with your time. I also sold products through mail order. Around that time a few mail order dealers were taking their business to the Internet. Then I turned to the Internet, but I really didn't have an understanding of having a business on the Internet. Then I started hearing about Affiliate Marketing, I like the business model. Affiliate Marketing doesn't require a lot of money to get started, I didn't need a Website, I don't have carry inventory and their tons of products to choose from. So I could offer products that I had a passion for. I had and still have a lot to learn about Affiliate marketing but I've making progress. That's because I've met some very nice people who really did help when I needed a question answered. Or would point me in the right direction when they didn't have an answer. And that is how I ended up at Apsense.
