As it is designed with enough space, anything can be easily kept. For example, laptop, book, water bottles, etc. The traditional one does not have many choices like the same old design but now it can be customized. But it is a classic choice in every event.

However, the modern lecterns do have choices and now gaining some popularity. As these are also used in offices, hotels. Many choice-able designs and colours can be added. Even it comes with a microphone added. On the other side, the podium lecterns are also a type of lecterns that is different from wooden lecterns. This is also used in many works.

Nonetheless, wooden lecterns are a preferable choice and better for long-term use.
