by Westview Manufacturing Quality Made Spa Gazebos and Outdoor Buildings Sin

When investing in a good spa gazebo, installing it correctly is absolutely necessary to ensure that you get the full benefit from it. Unfortunately, many people do not know the right installation process of a spa gazebo. Faulty installation can end up making the gazebo use too much energy or even damage it prematurely. Below, we look at a few things you need to keep in mind when installing gazebos.

Consider The Location Of The Gazebo

Usually, people install hot tub spa enclosures at the back of their homes or at a place where it will be surrounded by trees, bushes, and other natural scenery. And if you are unsure as to where to install the gazebo, then this position would be good enough. However, make sure that there will be a good deal of empty space around the gazebo which will highlight it. If there is not enough empty space, then the gazebo can look like an unpleasant, bulky thing.

Check The Water Source

In case you are planning to install a regular gazebo, then it is recommended that you set it up as far away from the water source as possible. This is the best way to ensure that the gazebo remains protected from discoloration, premature aging, and so on. However, if you plan on a gazebo with a spa or a hot tub, it is essential that you only install it very close to a water source. Specialized hot tub gazebos are built to withstand the wet environment that will be created as a result of the warm water.

Proper Permits

Spa enclosures gazebos and hot tubs may require permits in some cases. If you are installing a small gazebo, then you may be able to get away with no permits. However, for gazebos which are more than 100 sq. ft. in size, a permission from your municipal authorities may be required.  Some counties will also require you to get authorization for external constructions in your property. As such, a permit for the gazebo may become necessary.

Solid Foundation

Choosing a good foundation for your gazebo is extremely important. Ideally, the foundation must provide a solid support to the hot tub and should have proper drainage that will take away the excess water in case of snow or rainfall. If you are installing the hot tub on solid ground, then you will have to raise it on a 100% level foundation. Concrete is a good option for the foundation since it will last very long and requires very minimal maintenance.  If you need a cheaper option, go with gravel.

Privacy And Safety

Make sure that the gazebo is set up in a very private location so that you and your loved ones can enjoy lazing around the hot tub without worrying about your safety or the prying eyes of a third party. It should ideally be positioned close to essential utilities. You may also be required to build up a barrier around the gazebo as per local building laws.
