by Anna Rose Blogger

The name public speaking can be a nightmare if you do not have the right set of characteristics or proper preparation. However, if you prepare yourself enough for the same, then, you will realize that public speaking is not that tough a job. No one is born an orator; everybody needs to brush up their communication skills and practice and prepare for speaking publicly. Public speaking is nothing but sharing your ideas with a large number of people and standing in a position where the entire crowd can see you. If your public speaking is not up to the mark, then there are chances that no one will stay focused.

Features Of An Active Public Speaker

These are the features you should have that will emulate you to become an influential and inspiring leader.

·         Confidence – Your confidence is undoubtedly the priority factor in public speaking. A confident speaker is viewed as someone accurate, credible, intelligent, and knowledgeable as well. When you are speaking publicly, it is natural that you might be nervous, but getting over the same and portraying as someone confident is like half job done.

·         Being Oneself – This is very important, especially when you want to impress your audience, it is necessary that you be yourself. Watching youtube videos and trying to imbibe a different personality is not a good idea. Also, because you practice your speech a lot of times, it does not mean that you end up memorizing it. Because in case you forget some part of the address you will end up in a challenging position. To understand the topic and then general create an outline of the speech you are about to make, this will also help you to remember the key points of the address.

·         Passion – The topic you are about to speak; you need to connect yourself to it emotionally. So that if you talk your passion is apparent, because, without passion, your speech is meaningless. You need to display a certain level of sincerity when you want to communicate to your audience, and you want them to connect them to your presentation.

·         Speak In Your Natural Voice – Do not try to speak in the view of someone else, no matter how loud you are or how soft, you need to speak in your authentic voice. Modulate your voice, as and when required to stress on a particular topic, and for which you need to have a Public Speakers Training.

Once you keep in mind these characteristics, along with practicing the topic you want your speech to be, you will be able to deliver the best speech and will be able to remain pretty

Confident on stage. The more you make public statements, the more your confidence will be going up.
