What is therapy with the red light?

by Johns Steive Education Consultant

Red light therapy, which is also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation, is the use of red light or near-infrared light to help the body. These good qualities are explained in more detail below, but red light has a therapeutic or healing effect on the body and tissues when it is strong enough and given in the right amount.

For example, a laser that puts out light in the red light spectrum could be used to shine on an injured body part, or a red light LED could be shined on the body.

How does therapy with red light work?

Light affects our mood, how well we sleep, how our hormones work, and a lot more. For example, blue light can make us sleepy or wake us up. Red light is therapeutic and healing, and it helps growth and repair. Infrared light warms us up and can help us clean out our bodies. In our skin, vitamin D is made with the help of UV-B light.

So, light is not just a color that lights up your environment; it also goes into the body and has biological effects there

Does therapy with red light work?

Yes! The FDA has even given their approval. There are 100s or even 1000s of peer-reviewed studies that show how red light therapy can help.

Researchers came to the conclusion that if the LED has

       the right length of time

       enough photon intensity

       adequate dose

Then yes, LED phototherapy does work and has many useful uses in clinical practice for doctors and surgeons in many different fields.

What good things does red light therapy do?

There are many benefits, such as less inflammation and pain, faster wound healing, and more collagen in the skin. Getting the body's inflammation levels down can help treat things like osteoarthritis, joint injuries, and too much swelling.

       help people with hypothyroidism

        Improve performance and cellular energy

Shorten recovery times from training and injury

        Increase testosterone and fertility

       Improve skin health

       Tighten loose skin

       Improve oral health

       Stop hair loss

Is it safe to do red light therapy?

Red light therapy is a way to improve your health without using drugs or surgery. It just uses light, the same light that comes from the sun. Red light devices focus a specific wavelength of this natural light, giving us more "natural light" than we would get from, for example, being out in the sun.

As far as I know, there are no direct risks to red light therapy as long as it is done with a good device. Red light therapy might not be as safe as it could be in some ways. The main problem is that some devices may give off high levels of non-native electromagnetic fields.

Is there anything bad that can happen if I use red light therapy devices?

The worst side effects of red light therapy are headaches and tiredness. This is because the body needs a lot of energy for the healing and building of mitochondria and red light therapy starts. Red light therapy can never give you a sunburn because none of the devices that use red light therapy give off UV.

Also, ask the company how high the device's non-native electromagnetic frequencies are. Some users have said that their LED red light therapy devices give off a lot of electromagnetic frequencies that are not natural to the earth. (I've tested the different red light panels and found that their equipment has low nnEMF.)

Why do red LEDs for red light therapy stand out?

Simple: They are an efficient way to send out light with a very specific wavelength. Other light bulbs, like incandescent or halogen bulbs, give off different colors of light, like reds, greens, yellows, blues, and even light that might not be visible, like UV or infrared.

This means that you have to use a lot of energy to get some of the healing red light. On the other hand, LEDs, also called light-emitting diodes, can be made to give off a specific wavelength of light, such as 660nm, without giving off any other light. This means that the LEDs are turning more power into the good light that people who use red light therapy want.

How to Use Red Light Therapy to Detox?

Start with something short. If this is your first time trying red light therapy, start with a shorter session of about 5 to 10 minutes. So, your body will have time to get used to the treatment.

Gradually extend the length of your sessions. Once your body has gotten used to red light therapy, you can start making your sessions longer

Use it all the time. Aim to use red light therapy three to five times a week for the best results. This will help your body get rid of toxins more regularly and improve your health as a whole

Add to other ways to get rid of toxins. Combine red light therapy with other ways to get rid of toxins, like saunas or dry brushing, for a more thorough detox.

If you want to improve your health and well-being and help your body detox on its own, this could be something to look into. Red light therapy has a lot of benefits and isn't too expensive, so it's something that many people can try.
