Venus Williams - in a great way to come back

by TennisWeBlog/ TableTennisWeBlog Student
The American Venus Williams plans to come back soon, and as we could see on wednesday, she is on a great way to do it. in Miami Open's 1st round, whick took place on wednesday, Venus has won against the Japanese Kimiko Date-Krumm in just 1 hour and 17 minutes by 6:0, 6:3. She played surpsingly good and by this she's shown us, she is retuning back and proved, that she is on a great way to do it.

Venus Williams hasn't played a match since the US Open in september, and that's why she's fallen to no. 134 in the WTA ranking. After the US Open, she confessed, she is suffering for the Sjogren's syndrom. The Sjogren's Syndrom is a systemic autoimmune disease which causes a saliva gland and tears. Williams says, that the fact that she can participate in a tournament like the Mami Open is a  big succes for her. The American player, during the Olympic Games will be 32, but still wants to do something big there. Right now she is on a grat way to be in the first 50 of the WTA ranking soon and maybe one day we'll see her name in the first twenty or perhaps ten.
