Various types of night/mouth guard

There are
various types of mouth guard namely: Stock mouth protectors which are ready to wear mouth guard that are
preformed mostly found in most outlets offering sports wear their big disadvantage is that they usually comes in
large sizes hence usually adjusting them is quite difficult also they are often
very bulky and despite all their irregular sizes they usually don’t offer the
much required protection hence most dentist and sports specialist don’t usually
recommend them to be used as they put
the life of the sports men at risky they can come out anytime. The purpose of the mouth guard is to
provide protection against grinding of teeth which is usually the case during
most sports. Mouth guard are a compulsory especially to those taking place in
boxing to absorb the pressure that will probably taken by the teeth in the
event that the blow will land on the cheek. The second type of the mouth guard
is boil and bite type of mouth guard. These types are more fitting than the
stock protectors and provide more protection. They are usually fit with a
thermoplastic materials that absorb hence offer more absorption of the incoming
pressure. Individuals using any of the above type of mouth guard need to know how to clean the night guard so that
their mouth can be bacteria free.
How to use a mouth guard
The boil and
bite mouth guard is quite easy to use as it involves dipping it in the hot
water that function to soften it as smoothness is vital to the delicate tissues
of the mouth and helps to lubricate the mouth during the sports. When it is
time to use it the mouth guard is simply inserted into the mouth and while

The most

jaws only but in special circumstances a mouth guard can be made for the lower
jaw which is usually the case when an individual has any physical dental appliance
on their jaws.
