• Valentines Day gift: Do not forget the gift. It might not be necessary, but it makes a nice impression on your lover and tells them how much you care about them
• Time: Make sure that both of you are free on Valentine's Day eve, especially him/her. You would not want to go your efforts in vain if they already have some other plans
