Tulail valley is the sub-valley of Himalayan offbeat Gurez Valley in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley lies 200 kilometers from Srinagar and 120 kilometers from the northeast of Bandipora. Tulail valley is hidden from the sights of major tourist attractions, covered by the Himalayan Mountains. Most of the population of the valley speaks the Shina language(a language that belongs to the Dardic tribe). The people have the most distinct cultural identity. Tulail valley is very popular and it is also referred to as Mini Ladakh. The cultural tradition in the valley is very old and is still alive today. Today we will explore this magical valley which remains still unexplored.

Tulail Valley remains remote over years but has now opened to emerge as one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in, Kashmir valley. For many years the region remains untouched by modern ways but today it is the most beautiful region In all of Kashmir. Tulail valley has very enchanting surroundings, snow-capped mountain peaks, rivers, and lakes. The valley has all the aspects of the person falling in love with this place. The scenery there is breathtaking and the valley is traversed by the Kishanganga river.


Distance from Srinagar to Tulail valley.

The distance from Srinagar to Tulail valley is 200 kilometers. one has to pass the largest freshwater lake which is called Wular lake and Razdan pass during the drive. It will take around 6 hours to drive via Bandipora Srinagar road.

 

How to Reach Tulail valley. 

To reach valley Tulail valley. Srinagar airport is the nearest airport, the airport is connected to major cities of India like Delhi, Banglore, Mumbai, Chennai, etc. The nearest railway station is the Jammu railway station from Jammu book a cab to reach Tulail valley.

 

Gurez to Tulail valley.

The distance from Gurez valley to Tulail valley is 40km. It will take you around a 1-hour drive to reach Tulail, and the road gives breathtaking views. There are also 40 kilometers distance from, Dawar to Tulail valley.

 

Places to Visit in Tulail Valley.

The best places to visit Tulail valley are Angaikot village,chakwali in Tulail, Habba khatoon Mountain peak, and Kishanganga river lake and razdan pass. 

Angaikot village: The village is situated beside the river of Kishanganga.it is well known beautiful village in Tulail valley.it is also called the gem of Gurez Tulail. 

Kishanganga River: Traversed with mountains from both sides, the river is the heart of Gurez. Kishanganga has a beautiful turquoise-blue color.it is one of the highlights of the Tulail and Gurez valley trip. 

Habba khatoon mountain peak: The peak is the soul of Gurez . It is the name of a Kashmiri poetess who was born in pampore. the perfect time to see the mountain peak is in the early hours and late hours to enjoy the best view of sunrise and sunset.

Chakwali: The distance from Gurez to Chakwali is about 65km. It will take you around 2 hours to drive. the drive offers breathtaking views.

Razdan pass: it is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 11,624ft above sea level. Razdan pass is well connected to the Gurez and Tulail valleys. The Harmukh Mountain is also visible from the Razdan pass.

 

Best Time to Visit Tulail valley.

The best time to visit Tulail valley starts from May to September. During these months the valley blooms in all its glory. The summertime is the perfect time to visit Tulail valley because it offers breathtaking views from all around. This valley is also well known for its flora and fauna and natural beauty. Summer season is the best season to visit Tulail valley because in the winter season, the valley remains cut off due to heavy snowfall at Razdan pass and the roads are blocked for 6 months, so if you are planning to visit Tulail valley summer season is the best time to enjoy your trip.
