And that's how, while running away from another ghost, Vatanuki accidentally (or maybe not ?!) comes to the house of the sorceress Yuuko, who fulfills all desires, but for a fee. In his quest, get rid of the ghosts of Vatanuki becomes servant Yuuko, because he can not otherwise pay for her services. And at this time, a good sorceress and her friend Mokona constantly use sake, smoke and 

admire the moon.

Soon their company is replenished with a classmate of Vatanuki - Doumauki, who was brought up all his life at the temple, and therefore the spirits and ghosts are simply afraid of him. Doumeki becomes an excellent partner in all sorts of affairs, which instructs the Yuuko guys. But the fact is that they do not reconcile with themselves and as always the reason for that - a girl, a charming Himavari-chan. But, no matter how much Vatanuki was hysterical about jealousy, nevertheless - Vatanuki and Doumaki are a wonderful team, led by Yuuko-san and Mokona.

The anime story is very interesting, it is based on Japanese traditions, beliefs, customs, and rituals. Character characters are wonderful, each interesting in its own way. The drawing is somewhat unusual, but it does not spoil the show at all. Magnificent and memorable opening and ending, which perfectly intertwine in the storyline of the series and are one of its virtues.

"XXXHOLiC" is undoubtedly a very interesting series and, according to many, one of the best works of the studio "CLAMP". In April 2008, the second season began.
