Trekking in India is the Right Place for your holidays?

It's human nature that everyone wants a change in their routines of day to day hustle bustle to something adventurous and exciting which gives a refreshing feel to a person who is overburdened by daily life's trying & monotonous functions. One needs a day off to run away from the busy life to recharge their biological batteries. People look out for different types of adventures and exotic places where they can let go off of their stress and get inspired from the nature or just get to know about themselves more. 


In India people are getting more and more affected by stressful lifestyle and busy work schedule causing them to get obese and unhealthy. Most of the urban working class population is suffering from obesity and depression & stress. Obesity not only affects your body but it also affects your mind and internal organs to such an extent that it may become fatal for your health and is the main cause for the decrease in life expectancy rate. The main cause for this disease is unplanned sleeping time, Reducing physical activity and unappropriated diet. Busy work schedules add much danger to it.


Indians and the The Indian Sub-continent are diverse and are spread over huge areas geographically. There are coastal areas which is why India is called a peninsula as it is covered by water from all three sides. Then there are mighty Himalayas in the North Which a great variety of flora and fauna in them. India has everything which a person needs to become stress free and experience adventures.

People often choose going to the mountains during summertime to get relief from the scorching heat in the cities. The most desirable way which people opt for spending their holidays is to go trekking in the mountains. It is the best way to know about the ecology of the mountains and also the adventures one goes through teaches him/her a lot about their inner self.

In India there are many mountaineering schools which offer all the safety equipments to tourists who come for trekking on the mountains. Mountaineer 'Bachendri Pal' conducts trekking trips to the Himalayas through National Adventure Foundation(NAF). These trips include people who work in the corporate sector who are used to working in a cabin in front of their computers. These trips to the Himalayas are a challenge to a person's mental and physical abilities.

People who go up there face enormous difficulties in climbing and breathing, but it is an adventure which would bring out the real nature of the person in those testing conditions. In that moment where one is facing the nature's power, the person has to have a strong will power to complete their climb and that can be done only be achieved with team work and trust. The thought of backing up and discontinuing the trek should not come in the mind.
