The Trentino or also known as
province of Trento is
an autonomous province located in northern part of Italy. The capital of Trentino is the town of Trento which is also known as Trent in
English. Trentino is famous for its mountains which are the parts of Alps. The
city Trent is a town which is rooted in history and art. The City Council still
maintains its precious monuments as a token for its rich historic and artistic
heritage. They are built in elegant Renaissance style. From time to time there
has been slight refurbishing works. Below mentioned are few of the artistic
structures in this small town.

Visiting Trent
This place has many Hotels

a comfortable stay. Also, there are many tour operators who will take around
the city and will cover all the must see places. Usually the tour starts from Castello
Del Buonconsiglio and then takes its visitors across the city till the piazza
Duomo. Along the way it covers Via Manci, Via Belenzani and Via San Marco
running past the beautiful palaces and the surrounding network of alleyways,
squares and roads. Also, one would discover other historical buildings like Via
Suffragio’s arcades and the ancient battlements and towers.
Visitors could admire the city’s
beauty by just walking around the alleys, enjoy shopping or else visit museums.
This city was awarded the title of Alpine city in the year 2004 and also home
to many prestigious Universities in the country. Besides, it hosts various
cultural events that are planned all throughout the year like Economics
Festival which brings researchers and experts from around the world. In December, it hosts one of the best
Christmas market in Italy.
Reaching the city
This city is very easy to reach because of the
central position between the plains of Northern Italy, Po and Veneto and the Southern
Alps.
By road: For motorbikes, camper-caravans and cars, the
main road which is accessible to this region is Brennero-Moderna A22 motorway.
It is a part of European road E45 that runs through Italy, Austria, Germany and
Denmark. There are many branches off from A22 which leads to the valley. Network of road in this region consists of
wide roads and during winter these roads are checked and maintained.
By train: All the long-distance European and Italian trains
stops on the main 2 stations of Rovereto and Trento
By airplane: If you choose to travel by airplane, then you
could land in Milan, Venice, Bergamo or Verona and reach the city by car-rental
services, trains or shuttle buses within 2 hours.
