Top Attractions of 22nd December Serendipity Arts Festival Goa

Once again, December is one of the best months to visit Goa because the Serendipity Arts Festival has begun. The event started on 15 December and will end on 25 December. The event organizer has systematically segregated each program so everyone can enjoy everything. Dance, music, workshop, and cuisine are some top attractions of the event every day. Here are the 22nd December event highlights at Serendipity Arts Festival. 

Game of Dice

To mesmerize dance lovers and introduce them to the ancient dance form, the Game of Dice is one of the most entertaining events by a group of dedicated dance artists, including Santosh Nair and Sadhya. Geeta Chandran, a prominent Indian Bharatanatyam dancer and vocalist, curates it. It brings an inventive style of art to the audience by getting inspiration from Kathakali and the vibrant outlook of Chhau. Some elements of the dance have also been taken from contemporary dance. The event will occur at 7 pm on 22 December at the Arena At Nagalli Hills Ground.

Ta Dhom Project

The musical event will be held right after “Game of Dice” on 22 December at the same venue in Goa. The one-hour event is a composition of classical music and hip-hop. The name, Ta and Dhom, is about mixing two ideas and two cultures to bring together Konnakol, a unique vocal percussion for which an instrument from southern states of India is used, named the Mridangam. It is a project of Indianuance, a production, programming, and an enthusiastic group focusing on Indian classical music and its allied forms.

Old Man and the Sea

If you love to watch live drama, you should attend the Old Man and the Sea show. The theatre show is based on Ernest Hemingway’s novella. The storyline moves around an old fisherman struggling to catch a big fish for days. Though it is a 40-minute show, it is engaging. The live dram is the production of a group of people, including the director, actors, music players, light design and execution manager, etc. Quasar Thakore Padamsee curates it as a leading Indian stage actor turned theatre director. The event venue is Old GMC Complex from 11:00 am to 11:40 am.

When You Break the Fourth Wall

Attend the event projected by Ajitesh Gupta and Mohit Agarwal. It is a unique show to establish a connection with the audience. The show will conduct on 22 December at Excise Building at 03:00 pm. It is an hour event to revive your mood.
