The place is a 30 feet x 30 feet area with brushed concrete on the surface and underground water sprinklers. If you are bringing more than ten persons with you, the administration requires that you contact the office first.

Pine Grove Furnace State Park

The relaxing beaches located at Fuller and Laurel lakes are available from 8:30 AM until Sunset beginning May 1 up to September 30. The park is situated at 1100 Pine Grove Road in Gardners. Fuller beach provides lifeguards from 11 AM until 7 PM while at Laurel Beach; you swim at your own risk. The administrators and advisers recommend that swimmers exercise extra caution because of cold surface waters and intense depth.

Memorial Park in Carlisle

The pool is available from 1:00 PM to 7:00 from Sunday to Friday, however, on Saturday, it is only available from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There is a snack bar in case you and your family forgot to bring snacks.

Gifford Pinchot State Park

The expansive beach located in the Quaker Race Day Use Area is available to the public from 8:00 AM until sunset during the later part of May until the middle of September. There are many activities that you and your family can enjoy while relaxing and cooling off the summer heat. There is a children’s play area, picnic facilities, boat rental, and a snack bar. However, there is no lifeguard in the area so it is a swim at your own risk place.

Penn's Park Splash Pad in York

The Penn's Park Splash Pad was recently inaugurated by the York City Recreation and Parks Bureau. It is open to the public from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM. The park is located at 100 W. College Avenue in downtown York.

Splash Pad at Fairmount Park in Red Lion

The Splash Pad at Fairmount Park is located at 108 Boundary Avenue in Red Lion. It has a free splash pad, changing rooms, and a pavilion. The splash pad has an activator located at the middle of the drain with motion-activated features. The park is located along South Charles or Fairview streets or at the Community Building at 190 S. Charles Street.
