Kojonup is a popular and beautiful town situated 256 km South East of Perth along the Albany Highway in Western Australia. The name of the place has been derived from the word “kodja”, which is known to be a stone axe created by Indigenous Australians with the help of native stones. Noongar people are traditional owners & inhabitants of Kojonup. These people drank from local freshwater spring & hunted game with 'kodj'. This place is in fact one of the oldest regions situated in Western Australia. It offers a wide range of tourist attractions that makes visitors come back again and again. The Rose Maze :
The rose maze is a unique portion of the Kodja Place. It narrates the tale of three women- Maria, Elizabeth and Yoon Di. It features an intricate and beautiful maze created by hundred different types of elegant roses, some of which are very rare. The place provides interesting and interactive wildflower tours, where tourists are led through an array of striking plaques, mosaics and pergolas. 

The Kodja Place :
This is another pleasing place that was developed by incorporating cultures of several districts harmoniously. It is stocked with a splendid collection of artefacts, pictures, stories, interactive displays and exhibits. It also speaks about the cultural factors, economical influence and geographical effects that shaped the modern day Kojonup. It includes several areas such as the Story Place, Australian Rose Maze, Kodj Gallery and  Yoondi’s Mia Mia.

Historical sites :
There are lots of historical places at several regions of Kojonup. The most notable is the Walk Trail that leads and assists other significant places making up the most attractive heritage of the town which includes the St. Mary’s Church, the Old School, Military Barracks and 52 other sites. 

Flora and fauna reserves :
There are various reserves situated in Kojonup that protect the indigenous vegetation and wildlife of the place. The Farrar reserve covers an area of more than a thousand acres. Then there are the Fauna Sanctuary and Myrtle Benn Flora, which is a local reserve built by school going kids during 1960s for allowing public to access exquisite natural flora and making different walking trails.
