The journey from watching soccer to betting on games

In today's article I’m going to tell you a little story of myself and the way I grew up being passionate about football, soccer and how I also became interested in betting on matches and eventually started to earn a significant amount of money out of it.

It all started when I was only maybe 3 or 4 years old. My father and my older brothers were all passionate about this sport. When our favorite team had an important match, it was a whole event in our house as they were all gathered around the television. As I was a kid, I was really not that conscious about what was going on, but when I saw them doing it, I had to do the same, just like all the kids are taking over habits from their family members. So I was sitting there watching the game with them even though I had no clue about what’s going on.

After one or two more years, they also started to take me with them to the stadium, which was the moment when I got in love with this sport. The vibe in the stadium on the day of an important match is unique and it’s what I love the most about soccer. 

Growing older, I started to develop my own taste and I was picking by myself the games that I wanted to watch, I started to have favorite teams and players and I had my own opinions about this sport. In the meantime, I also started to play football with my friends and even if I never became a professional, this was a passion that could make me happy on a saturday evening when I preferred to play football instead of going to a club and having some booze.

Around the age of 16-17 I already started to hear that some of my older friends discovered Soccer Predictions and they were placing bets on their favorite team.
