The impact on health over time

by APSense News Release Admin

Society in the 21st century has sped light years in so many ways with technology, billions of creations and discoveries, new machines in hospitals and medicines, beauty and fashion has come so far. This is only a fraction of how much we have evolved here on earth.

Diving into technology specifically has made such an impact for many great things that are helping us live longer and being able to learn the amount of information out there then we ever did before for starters. However it came at a cost.

Technology has taken up so much of our time, energy, money, it has even in alot of ways made many people more insecure than before, beauty has become filtered, body types being scrutinised, what you do and have will make or break you. People are getting physically ill, turning to substances to get by or families separating for whatever the reason at play from it.

Going back to the early 2000’s everyone lived in a dream state sort of speak thinking that others only wanted or cared for what you did, had and what to offer them. What was expected of you on a material and unrealistic level mattered most.

Working yourself harder and harder, always to say yes, no boundaries or giving yourself a break or rest, competing with yourself and others getting to the top. A race to being the best and making the best.

It made us lose touch with what is most important.

What about our mental health?

People over time now have become more educated and are aware of the impact searching for help, guidance and a better way to change. Mental health is 1 of many changes that people are taking. It has exploded in the last 20 years and even in the last 10 years more and more people are taking it up as a second career such as coaching for example.

Now more than half of society have stood up for themselves and discovered that emotion for one cannot be pushed aside. For the longest time going to therapy before meant that something was wrong with you, it was taboo, kept secret because you were too embarrassed for anyone to find out.

Now it's become such a fad almost that many at home are on their tv recliners with the massage setting on listening to a podcast or watching a talk show with inspirational guests, wine glass in hand just to unwind after a stressful work day. We are finding so many outlets for self help because that way of life with stress, anxiety and pressure isn't working anymore for alot of us.

We are at a time where we need to be able to live and function on the same grounds as our creations because as much as the world is moving forward at a tremendous speed that benefits us, we can't forget that our health on all levels can be at risk. Investing in our wellbeing gives us balance and moderation in a more efficient way of going forward.
