You begin with no idea of who you're or everything you re fighting for, you just go around a very linear path with monsters spawning at triggered positions surrounding you, doing all your better to make utilization of your energy-based shotgun and conserve pistol ammo.

The gunplay is simple but lacks depth up to now, being inside a position to zoom in the little, as if using weapon sights, while not translating in to a greatly improved accuracy, and monsters are specially tough to hit after they re nearby.
