The essential difference between Electric galvanized and hot dip galvanized

Product introduction

In the continuous foundry set adopt cold-rolled strip steel, galvanized steel strip made by galvanized steel pipe supplier (electric galvanized and hot dipped galvanized) as substrate, after surface pretreatment (skim and chemical treatment), with the method of the roller coating, coated with a layer or multilayer liquid coating, after baking and cooling proceeds, the plate is the steel plate. Due to the coating can have a variety of different colors, customarily called color coating steel plate. Because of the coating was conducted before the steel plate forming process, it's called pre-coated steel sheet in foreign countries. 

The process flow:

Color coating steel is adopted the cold rolled steel sheet and galvanized steel as substrate, the products are manufactured after surface pretreatment (degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion treatment), with the method of continuous coated (roller coating method), and then after baking and cooling.
Common continuous color coating line for drying process main production process is: uncoil, pretreatment, coating, baking, post-processing and coiling.

Product application:

Coating steel plate has a light weight, beautiful and good anti-corrosion performance, and can be directly processed, it provides a new type of raw materials to the construction, shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, furniture industry, electrical industry, play the role of the steel for wood, such as efficient construction, save energy and prevent pollution.

Use galvanized steel plate as the base plate of color coating steel plate, in addition to have the protection of the zinc, zinc layer of organic coating on the cover isolation function, can prevent the steel rust, and the longer service life than galvanized steel sheet, according to the service life of the coating on the steel plate to 50% longer than galvanized steel.

But in the use of different areas and different parts of the same amount of galvanized, same coating, coating thickness of same color coating plate, its service life will be very different. For example, in the industrial zone or in the coastal areas, due to the role of sulphur dioxide gas in the air or salt and the corrosion speed, the service life can be affected. In the rainy season, the coating by the rain soaked, or for a long time in day and night with the big temperature difference, it will quickly from corrosion, and the life will be reduced.

The buildings made of plant, color coating steel plate is often washed in the rain, the service life is longer, otherwise, due to the sulfur dioxide gas, salt, and the effect of dust, the service life will be effected. So when design, the greater the slope of the roof, the harder the  dust and dirt can accumulate, the longer service life. For those which are not affected by rain, the area or position should be periodically wash with water.
