The Big Clash: Chhapaak Clashing With Tanaji and Darbar

One of the most common features of the film industry in India is the clashes in the box office. In the year 2020, the 3 biggest Indian films are going to clash. This includes Rajinikanth’s next movie with the director A.r. Murugadoss, which has been titled Darbar, Ajay Devgn's Tanaji: The Unsung Hero, and Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak. All of them are set to get released on Pongal on 10th January.

This year, the first and second Friday of January was not responsible for attracting any big release, however, Uri: The Surgical Strike, which starred Vicky Kaushal, made the republic weekend extremely exciting.

About Chhapaak


Chhapaak is going to be directed by the famous director Meghna Gulzar and the release date has already been announced, which is 10th January 2020. With the other two films getting released on the same day, it is going to be extremely exciting to observe as to which film is going to win the race in the box office. Chhapaak is completely based on the life of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. The audience has been waiting for this movie for a very long time.

The role played by Ajay Devgn is of Tanaji, and the movie is going to be a war drama. It is basically about another Indian warrior, who gave up his life in a valiant manner. On the other hand, in the movie Darbar, Rajnikant is going to play the role of a great police officer after a really long time and his fans are extremely excited for this movie. All the three films are responsible for belonging to the different genres, and hence it is going to be extremely interesting to view this clash. The Bollywood videos will soon start discussing this clash only.

Also, with the success of Uri: The Surgical Strike, which was released on 11th January 2019, filmmakers have started considering this particular period for releasing the big films. Also, the first week of January is considered to be the target of the filmmakers for releasing their films.

The other Bollywood clashes


As already mentioned, the Indian Film industry is responsible for the huge clashes that it has been witnessing since years. Apart from the three big clashes of 10th January 2020, this year, other Bollywood clashes are going to be spotted as well. Salman Khan has revealed that Dabangg 3 is going to be released in the last month of 2019. Arjun Kapoor's Panipat is going to hit the theatres on 6th December and Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going to be released on 20th December.

Apart from that, during Independence Day, Akshay Kumar's movie, Mission Mangal is going to clash with John Abraham's Batla House. Also, Saaho, the next release of Prabhas is going to release the same weekend. It is going to star Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
