Later on the government converted this beautiful palace that is a prime example of wonderful architecture into a heritage hotel and is thus a prime spot for a lot of travel enthusiasts.

The Lalitha Mahal Palace is set on a small hillock that gives one an entire view of the Chamundi hills and is a beautiful sight in its own self. It is a two storied structure and has a large number of domes, with a he central dome that gives it, its elevation.

Just as the name suggests, the accommodation at the hotel is also pretty lavish. There are specific rooms that overlook the pool as well.
