It offers luxury alongside its durability, safety, reliability, and performance. Now, let us take a look at the 5 Land Rover cars with great fuel economy alongside its high technology features.

Discovery Sport

The Land Rover Discovery Sport is a 5/7-door compact luxury crossover SUV that was produced in 2014 and is now in its 2nd generation. The 1st generation Discovery Sport is customized for off-road applications while the 2nd generation model is built on the JLR PTA platform. The Discovery Sport is a 5-seater and also available in a 3-row 7-seat option. Also comes with 8-way power-adjustable front seats, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, satellite radio, navigation, HD Radio, Bluetooth, a 10/11-speaker audio system, and 3 USB ports.

The Discovery Sport comes with 2.0L EcoBoost, 2.0L Ingenium petrol engines, 2.2L Duratorq, and 2.0L Ingenium diesel engines. A turbocharged 2.0L petrol engine with 200 hp, or the turbocharged 2.0L diesel engine with 164 hp. The fuel consumption comes to around 13 Km/L to 23.8 Km/L.


Range Rover Evoque

Range Rover Evoque is a series of subcompact luxury crossover SUVs produced since 2011. The Range Rover Evoque has been in production in 2 generations with the 2nd generation produced from 2018 to the present. 

The standard SE comes with a rearview camera, power-adjustable front seats, push-button start, the InControl Touch infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen, and front and rear parking sensors. Other options come with a 10-speaker Meridian sound system, a 10-inch touch screen, and a Wi-Fi hot spot, while the top-of-the-range autobiography features 14-way power-adjustable front seats with a massage function, a heated steering wheel, driver drowsiness monitoring, traffic sign recognition, HD Radio, a 16-speaker Meridian surround-sound system, and automatic emergency braking.


The 2nd generation Evoque is fitted with 2.0L AJ20P Supercharger Ingenium, 2.0L AJ20P MHEV Ingenium (P200, P250, P300) petrol engines, 2.0L AJ20D Ingenium (D150), 2.0L AJ20D MHEV Ingenium (D150, D180: Turbocharger; D240: Twin Turbocharger) diesel engines, 1.5L AJ150 PHEV Ingenium I3 + 80 kW electric motors (P300e) with a 48V mild-hybrid 80 kW PHEV. These engines have a fuel economy of 10.8 km/l and 10.6 km/l respectively.


Range Rover Velar

The Range Rover Velar was unveiled in 2017 and was the 4th model in the Range Rover line. The Velar features smoother lines on the body and emphasizes on-road ability and sportiness. The interior features 3 touchscreens, which control most of the interior features of the Velar. Standard features include automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, a dual-screen infotainment system, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, cruise control, rear parking sensors, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The engine sizes available are 2.0L Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium, 2.0L Ingenium P400e PHEV, 3.0L P400 turbo MHEV I6, 3.0L AJ126 Supercharged V6, 5.0L AJ133 supercharged V8 petrol engines, 2.0L Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium, 2.0L Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium t/c MHEV, and 3.0L AJD V6 turbo-diesel engines. The Velar fuel economy has been rated as high as 8.5 Km/L in the city and 11.05 Km/L on the highway.


Range Rover Sport

The Range Rover Sport is a mid-size luxury SUV that has been produced for 2 generations (the L320 and L494) with the production of the 2nd generation starting in 2013. It comes equipped with HD Radio, navigation, 5 USB ports, eight speakers, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with two 10-inch touch screens. Also, features are the push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, a digital gauge cluster, 14-way power-adjustable front seats, heated side mirrors, LED headlights, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Standard safety features forward collision warning with brake assist, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rearview camera, parking sensors, and lane departure warning.

The Range Rover Sport comes with 4.2L Supercharged Jaguar AJ-V8, 4.4 L Jaguar AJ-V8, 5.0 L Jaguar AJ-V8, 5.0 L Supercharged Jaguar AJ-V8 petrol engine, 2.7L Ford Lion V6, 3.0L Ford Lion V6, and 3.6L Ford Lion V8 diesel engines. The fuel economy for these models is range between 6.3 Km/L to 10.5 Km/L


Range Rover

Range Rover is a 4×4 and compact luxury motor car manufactured by Land Rover. The RR comes with push-button start, a Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with navigation, two 10-inch touch screens, 13 speakers, USB ports, a digital gauge cluster, tri-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a Wi-Fi hot spot, heated and 16-way power-adjustable front seats, heated side mirrors, a heated windshield, an adaptive air suspension, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Other extra features include 20-way adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, power soft-closing doors, 20-inch wheels, and heated rear seats while the autobiography features crawl control, a 29-speaker stereo, a locking rear differential, fog lights, quad-zone automatic climate control, and massaging front seats that are both ventilated and heated.

The latest Range Rover comes with a 3.0L turbo I6 MHEV (P360, P400), 4.4L twin-turbo V8 (P530) petrol engines, 3.0L twin-turbo I6 MHEV (D250, D300, D350) diesel engine, and 3.0L turbo I6 PHEV (P440e, P510e) PHEV. The fuel economy is around 12.8 Km/L
