This desire, known as aging in place, is becoming increasingly common as seniors strive to maintain their independence and stay surrounded by cherished memories in a familiar environment. But while the aspiration is undeniably relatable, it comes with a unique set of challenges. From ensuring care when they need it and making sure that their home is safe to inhabit. The latter being especially important for people who are prone to falling.
