The Application form for the SSC Stenographer 2016 exam was released on 7th May 2016. The SSC Stenographer 2016 exam will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission on 31 July 2016. The SSC Stenographer 2015 Application form can be filled using both online and offline modes. The candidates who wish to appear for the exam must fill the application form to be successfully registered for the same. The last date to fill the SSC Stenographer 2016 exam is 7th May 2016 for those who want to apply online. The candidates who choose to fill the application form for the SSC Stenographer 2016 Exam offline can do so latest by 7th May 2016. The SSC conducts the SSC Stenographer exam to recruit Stenographer grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ in different government divisions.

Eligibility Criteria

To fill SSC Stenographer 2016 Application form, mentioned eligibility must be fulfilled.

• The candidates must have completed their 12th class board examination from a recognized Board.

Application Procedure

• The candidates who want to apply for the SSC Stenographer 2016 online must visit the official website of the SSC.

• The form is divided into two parts –

• The first part consists of basic information of the candidate which must be filled carefully as this will be used later for necessary communication.

• You would then have to tick on the ‘I Agree’ box to declare that you agree to the terms and conditions regarding the examination.

• Once you have completed the first part of your registration, you will be provided with a registration number. You must take note of this number as this will be required later on in the application process.

• The second part of the SSC Stenographer 2016 Application form will consist of the details required for the payment of the application fees. The applicant must be careful while filling this part as this might be crucial for the successful completion of the application process for the SSC Stenographer 2016 exam.

• You will now be asked to upload your photograph which you must do while keeping in mind the given specifications like –

1.The photograph must be in JPG format.

2.The size of the file must be more than 4 kb but must not exceed 12 kb.

3.It should have a resolution of 100 pixel width by 120 pixels height.

• You will also be required to upload a scanned copy of your signature with the following specifications in your SSC Stenographer 2016 Application form.

1.The file must be in JPG format.

2.The size of the file must be more than 1 kb but must not exceed 12 kb.

3.It must have a resolution of 140 pixel width by 60 pixels height.

Application Fee

• The application fees for the different categories of candidates is as follows –

1. General – Rs. 100

2. Women – Application fees exempted

3. SC/ST/PH – Application fees exempted

4. Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation – Application fees exempted

• The candidates can use both online and offline modes to make the payment of the application fees for the SSC Stenographer 2016 Exam.

• The application fees can be paid online using SBI Net banking.

• The candidate can make the payment of the application fees using offline mode through CRF stamps and SBI Challan.
