Sharon P. Carson, the author of "Act Like A Lady- Think Like A Man",, has released a new book titled, "GO TELL THE CHILDREN."

"Go Tell The Children" is a transformative pictorially poetic stroll through highlights in Black History.

The book was inspired by the author’s awareness of some young men who purposely wear sagging pants that show their underwear.  The cover of the book was personally designed by the author. The graphic design is intended to be eye-catching to the youths of this generation, who can easily relate to the graphics, so as to arouse their curiosity and interest to open and explore the book; it was not intended to denigrate them.

The author is not a historian, nor is the book intended to be a textbook or a chronology of Black history.

“Go Tell The Children” was written to inspire racial pride in Black youths including both male and female, and not just the ones who choose to wear sagging pants. The author’s intent is to encourage them to study the magnificence of Black History, which pre-dates American slavery, on to the great accomplishments of Black people of this generation.

It is the author’s hope that through the reading of the content of this book whichs pulls together some amazing highlights in Black History,; many pants will be pulled up as well. The author also hopes  that the young men who sag now , as well as young women who read thise book, will one day brag about the new chapters of greatness in Black History that they will personally write for future generations to read about.
