by Arpit Seth Operation Head
At times of peace as well as in war, catering towards keeping the peace in a large country like India requires sufficient manpower and people manning various tactical positions.

Through the recruitment processes at different times of the year, these forces select their candidates and training them and then provide posting to them in different capacities. The Indian navy, army and air force are the three important wings of the armed forces military in India.

Apart from these three wings, there are many other forces which are responsible for maintaining the peace during non-war periods. BSF or Border Security Forces is one of such units which are responsible for enforcing law and order in the border of the country, with other nations. To enable the functions to go on smoothly, the BSF recruits people in different capacities, although higher officials are transferred from other armed forces or from Indian police services.

BSF is such a large force that it also has its air wing as well as many stationary units and workshops for maintaining and carrying out other operations. Becoming a part of this large border guarding force of India, through the BSF recruitment 2013 is an opportunity to serve the country with pride and honor. Lots of posts are advertised for every year and people in various disciplines are recruited from time to time. There are posts in which people are recruited and they are supposed to be related to the fighting wing.

Other staffs which are recruited take care of the official matters and the different types of support activities. In this way, BSF is responsible for giving employment opportunities to lots of people and thereby gives them an option to serve their motherland. There are some BSF personnel in the higher ranks, who are given deputation posting to the Intelligence Bureau, where they serve in gathering and disbursing intelligence information.

Intelligence Bureau (IB) is India’s top department for intelligence activities where information gathering and analysis is done for the armed forces and Ministry of Home Affairs and External Affairs. There are various divisions within the Intelligence Bureau itself, so that there are hundreds of job opportunities in total in this organization. Plenty of job opportunities will be possible to be availed by those interested for jobs in Intelligence Bureau but they will have to put in their applications, as soon as the IB recruitment 2013 is advertised.

Although there are both gazetted and non-gazetted officers in the Bureau, most of the recruitment advertisements are for the non-gazetted ranks because the gazetted officers are done through the police services or through public service commissions. Many other opportunities are possible to be availed by the candidates who are aiming to serve their candidates and these are through the Indian Navy recruitment 2013.

With both military and civilian roles of the Indian Navy, people have plenty of options in these departments for selecting the way they would like to serve the country, provided they have the requisite educational qualifications. For the right candidates with the zeal to be serving in the national honor, there is no dearth of opportunities. They are only required to be alert about the recruitment advertisements and then give a good performance at the level of the interviews or written rounds as the case may be.
