Saved By His Amazing Grace

I was in the darkness. I spent too much time in the world doing my thing. I thought that the religious belief that I knew growing up is the be-all and end-all, and the way for me to be with God in heaven. But I was wrong.

I knew Jesus Christ since I started going to school. But I just knew Him as someone who died on the cross. Back then, I had no idea on the significance of His death nor His purpose of coming here on earth. In short, I had a limited and I could say false knowledge about Jesus.

Until, He called me…

I always hear this from the preachers that once you are called for a purpose, you have no escape. If Jesus will use you, then, He will. And I am glad that I was able to hear His call, and be one of those chosen few.

I am no different from anyone else. I am a sinner. I am vulnerable to temptations and I fall to the trap easily. This is a part of my life that I am not proud of. But I am telling this because I want you to know that being a sinner is not a reason for God to walk away from you. In fact, this is the reason why He came on earth. This is the reason why He wanted to save us.

I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for dying on the cross, for sacrificing His life, so a sinner like me can gain freedom! Isn’t His grace amazing? And the best part of this is that, what He did on the cross is free of charge. He did not require us to pay Him or do something for Him. It is given to us as a gift!

But why?

Simple. Because of His great love for us. We are not just merely a creation of God. We are supposed to be stewards of His other creations. However, sin separated us from Him.

But hey! Our God made a way to reconnect our broken relationships with Him. Aren't you thankful for that? Aren't you grateful for this opportunity to be with our Father again?

This is my most precious testimony. And for me the beginning of why I am here. I wouldn't trade this for the world! I am sharing my testimony because I want you to know the Good News (in case you haven't heard of this or if you have a false belief about this)!

I was once in the darkness but because of Jesus Christ's immeasurable mercy and unconditional love, I am saved! To God be all the Glory!
