save a girl child think a world without us...

by INDRAJEET SINGH CHAUHAN ***

We can save money, environment, oil, water, and tiger, save your data in computer, contact details in your mobile – but why do we SAVE GIRL CHILD?

We have enough girls/women around us, unfortunately  we are unable to save them, even today’s age the young girls and women are auctioned, sold, murdered, tortured, raped and are also socially discriminated…?

Everyday thousands of women becomes the victims and we are unable to save them, so, why do we want more girl child on this planet? Just because the woman are the object of men’s entertainment, so who will entertain us in the future, there won’t be any Munni or Sheila around us, no wife for a man to serve them food, clothes and sex on the platter!!! Is that the reason we must save girl child?

As per UN report every year 750,000 girls are aborted in India and in every minute one woman is raped, murdered, sexually abused or becomes the victim of the domestic crime – Today Government is worried about the skewed child sex ratio 833 girls against 1000 boys, had they ever tried to find out the reason that who is responsible for the screwed ratio?

Let me put the question before you – it is whose prerogative to have a child? It is the natural right of the mother or all the women to have a child or not? Since they all are gifted with a womb to reproduce human beings!!! However, she does not have right to select or give a preference to male or female child – which is cruel…!!! In most of the cases the decision of preference child is not of mother or both the parents, it is people around them who decides, who are stupid and don’t think that heir is not possible without her…!!!

Let me put a hypothetical question – Why in the present scenario mother would choose to infanticide her girl child? The best possible reason could be she does not want see her daughter doing household work in age of going to school – she does want her daughter to get forcefully married in her teens when it is her time to go to college – she does not want her daughter to give a birth to another girl child and see her suffering like her – she does not want to see her daughter to get discriminated in all the stages of her life…!!! Hence she chose to kill her before entering into this cruel world of men.

Let me show you the world from the eyes of girl child….. bright but unprivileged, twinkle in the eye but remorse in the spirit, she misses all the roles of life, the hand that rocks the cradle, the procreator, the mother of tomorrow, a woman shapes the destiny of civilization, such a tragic irony of fate, that beautiful creation such as girl child is today are missing from our country are found buried in some graveyard or she is forced to miss the moment when she is supposed to enter the world? Who is responsible?  Is it the male dominated society?

Why the Government is worried – because if this continues for another 2 decades women will be force to marry more men, just like five Pandavas married to one Draupadi – are we ready for such polygamy customs? So not only save the unborn girl child but also help the girls and women who exists or else they too will extinct…!!!

I will not save any girl child, because we don’t need to save them, the moment we protect them, respect them, and give those equal rights, on that day the skewed child sex ratio will automatically get equal…!!!

I love my mother and sister equally – what about you?
