Royal Enfield Himalayan Gets a Modified Look by the Team MRCE

MRCE Workshop, a Kerala-based team has made one of the most rugged looking revised Royal Enfield Himalayan, which we all have come across recently.

The off-road biased fashioning is further improvised with a tailor-made, tall-set front fender, which is wider and longer than the standard units on the bike. And a body colored mask is surrounding the new headlamp. The blinkers have got an upgrade as well. The 410 EXC makes use of slimmer, LED blinkers at the rear and the front.

The upgraded cockpit comes with an aftermarket handlebar, which is obtained from Renthal. Moreover, a pair of knuckle guards guarantees augmented protection to the biker and the clutch/brake levers while expounding the off-road biased fashioning. The design of the fuel tank has been revised too and the unit on the 410 EXC has also recesses, which are more prominent than the standard one.

A tailored saddle follows the oil tank, as well as features a rider-only plan. The new seat is made to allow the bike to move around properly while off-roading. It even seems to be adequately padded to provide better comfort, especially for a long road trip. Same as the front, the rear receives a tailored fender, which gets a body-colored finish. While other swapped parts encompass an aftermarket exhaust, which needs to offer a sportier exhaust note. Finally, the wire-spoke wheels make use of off-road spec knobby tires in order to provide better grip, particularly over loose surface.

But not all parts from the stock bike have been tossed out straight from the window and the updated Himalayan retains its factory-installed side panel and bash plate.

Mechanical changes to the motor have been specified. The stock bike, for example, makes use of 411cc air-cooled, SOHC motor with a carburetor, which makes 32 Nm of max torque at 4,250 rpm and 24.5 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm. The single-cylinder motor is paired with a 5-speed transmission.

Let you know that a disc brake on both wheels basically brings the bike to a halt. But unlike the new range, the bike in the pictures doesn’t receive the safety net of ABS. However, it is a commendable job done by the team MRCE Workshop. The folks accountable for the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the picture earn a round of applause.
