Delhi, Mr. Haryana, Mr. North India, YMCA and Federation Cup, as well.
Early life
Rohit was born on 16th November 1985 and brought up in the
Mewat city of Haryana. In the same city, he completed his early schooling and
cultivated an interest in games like cricket. This was also the time when he
developed an interest in wrestling. During his school time, Rohit was
mesmerized by the physical fitness of an Indian movie star Salman Khan. This
combined with his interest in wrestling took him to the gym right after
starting his 10th-grade education.
With a homemaker mother and a government employee father, Rohit had
complete support right from the beginning of his early bodybuilding interest.
Along with his mother and father, he also found inspiration and motivation from
his three cousins and two brothers. In fact, it was his cousins who drove his
focus towards sports and workout.
Career
Rohit did not have much knowledge about bodybuilding initially. But,
with his dedicated and determined mind, he kept on learning and gaining
knowledge from other gym mates. Being an amateur initially presented some
hurdles, as many gym mates used to avoid him. That is when Rohit decided to go
pro by participating in contests. The hard work paid off and he won by beating
his gym mates. This stardom brought fans who became the admirers of his
excellent fitness and bodybuilding regime.
Major injury
Determined to reach the peak of his capacities, Rohit reached a level
where his body started showing the signs of overwork and he got disk problem
along with several minor back injuries. This restricted him to avoid gym
training sessions for a while.
Recovery and a new start
After recovering from his injuries, Rohit came back to his original form
and became the winner of the Sheru Classic contest. He also established himself
as a bodybuilding icon on social media with a great response.
Jobs and diet
Along with his career as a bodybuilder, Rohit is also a personal trainer
and invested energy in modeling and ad shoots.
Rohit believes in using natural dietary options to build a sustainable
physique rather than using supplements.
Being a determined person and a bodybuilding enthusiast, Rohit wants to
compete for Mr. Olympia and make youth more aware of the right way of
bodybuilding.
