Now days going through the problem of unemployment across the world the graduates are opting for job options which are off-beat and creative and towards which nobody till date had paid any attention. Car tuning training in recent years has gained huge popularity among the young graduates searching for an appropriate and respected job for their earning. In simple words car tuning may be defined as the process of altering the programming of the engine control unit installed in the on-board diagnostic port of the car. The main objective of engine control unit (ECU) is to control the whole mechanism of the car’s engine and the components associated with it through the programme noted in the software of ECU installed in the car. The tuning involve re-writing the program of the software resulting in improved performance of the car in terms of power, torque and fuel efficiency. The main objective of the course is to make the students understand the complexities which they might face while working as professional tuner. In the beginning students are taught about the basics and necessity of ECU remapping.
