by Jane Lawson English Teacher at DailyStep.com

Learning a language may not be your priority, but when that language is the global language English, which opens your gate for education in developed countries like Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA, then nothing seems more valuable than learning this language.

Those of you who don’t know how English plays a role in letting you work or study in English speaking countries, let us tell you that these countries require you to clear IELTS for entry to universities in the UK and other countries. Every year around 1.4 million people take this test to make it to one of these countries. And to pass this test all you need is to be good at English. Yes! This test basically checks the language ability of candidates who want to explore career opportunities in English speaking countries.

And those who are not good at the language and want to sharpen their skills can do so with the help of online courses. How, you ask? Well, for this, you should first know what the test is all about.

The test is divided into two types based on their difficulty level: Academic or general training, both of which further have four sections:

  • Listening
  • Speaking
  • Reading
  • Writing

The general version is easier out of the two, but to clear any of the four sections you need to have a better understanding of the language. For instance, in the listening section you only get to hear the audio once, the audio is in native speaker’s accent and the most difficult part is that you have to write, read and listen all at once. Now, all this can only be done if you are pro at the language. And if you opt for an online English course, you will not just clear the listening part but will also have a strong grip over the other sections. An Online English course will train you for reading, writing and speaking so that you will be able to clear the IELTS with ease.

The confidence developed with these courses will be so much so that you will be able to speak fluently and answer questions put in front of you by the examiner in the speaking round.

With better understanding of the language, the reading and writing parts will not be a big deal for you. And hence, if you are really looking forward to a career in the above mentioned countries, start preparing today.
