Quit Looking For Money Making Programs: Start With What You Have

by Terry Warner My Leads Call Me

Seems like everyday there is some get rich quick program that everyone is joining. Another popular program is getting in early on the start up. Being on the top of the pyramid.

How about pre-launch, guaranteed results, and only available to a select few entrepreneurs. I think I have fallen for everyone of these sales gimmicks and spent several thousand dollars trying to work their program.

Finally, after many failures and disappointments, I reached a decision that I would have to quit network marketing and return to a real job.

However, I just couldn’t let it go as I personally knew people who were making large sums of money in networking.

I have listed several rules that increased my chances of making a decent living from networking.

1.      Pick one company and learn to make their product succeed.

2.      Stay away from spending money to stay in a particular program.

3.      Auto ship can cost you a lot of money.

4.      Develop a plan that will lead you to success.

I started out selling a health juice. The juice worked well, I used the juice, and I had a strong up-line for support. Every evening we would make telephone calls, give our speech to a potential customer, and hopefully close the sale. I knew what to say and knew how to overcome objections.

The biggest problem I had was finding people to call, so I bought leads to insure I had more people to call. At least two nights a week, I practiced with my up-line and helped my down line by role playing. We had a good time.

Unfortunately the juice company made some changes and the result cost us our team and up line. We were finished and I left MLM.

That failure started a list of other companies that failed as well. With the growth of caller ID, telephone soliciting became difficult. I tried everything from health juices, to mixes, to chocolate, and finally affiliate marketing. I failed at all of them.

I decided that in order to succeed I needed to brand myself as an expert in my particular field. That was a tough decision as I had no clue how to be recognized for expertise in any field.

However, I kept plugging away, writing articles, and spending money on everything program that promised success. I failed and quit, only to try again. I remember saying to myself, “If I don’t quit, I can’t fail.”

I had one notable quality; I had good writing skills and was a published author. I had tried everything in networking except promoting myself and my writing. I decided then that I would teach others how to improve themselves first so they could improve their lifestyle and teach others how to succeed. In other words, Branding Myself.

I stopped all of my networking ventures and started concentrating on my web site. I developed a plan of action and counted the cost. I signed up with Magnetic Sponsoring and slowly I started improving.

In other words, I started playing with the cards of life that had been dealt to me instead of buying a new deck every month and trying to get a better hand.

Slowly but surely, circumstances started to change and I found my self gaining confidence and starting my journey to success. I now encourage others to reach their potential and increase their value to others.

One of the best programs, in my opinion, is Magnetic Sponsoring. Mike Dillard and his associates can teach you how to succeed in the quickest way. His programs are down to earth and he gives you plenty of information and coaching.
