PSO2 is self contained much

by Wang Rui Web Designer
I had been a PSU fan, PSO, or some of its episodes, nor the original PS games and I never played with. Is there any overarching themes or buy PSO2 Meseta characters, plots, etc which make a Phantasy Star game? To get a Phantasy Star explained exposé or video to tell me what that I need to be conscious of lore and that which connects the 29, I have looked up and down. Does any Phantasy Star thing? Do they connect to the titles? It just seems like PS games will be that in title and gameplay, not really linking antagonists/protagonists, locales, etc..

In terms of direct plot relevance? PSO2 is self contained much. Phantasy Star Online 2 The Animation (the very first anime series) takes place between Episodes 3 and 4 of this game, and Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle is an adaption of Episodes 1 to 3 of the game, and there is a spin off game, Phantasy Star Nova, that takes place at the same universe as PSO2, however is pretty much detached, the plot of Nova has yet to have any re-intergration together with the main PSO2 plot.

Occassionally there'll be some crossover events that directly contain characters from other Phantasy Star games, but the most story we have gotten out of that is simply"they're here by spacial distortion" crap, or I think the PSU characters appearing in game was assumed to be them using Emilia's subspace transport device from PSP2. That's about what there is for direct characters.

Other than that, there's like, series basic things (Photons, Dark Falz, Mother, Rappys, Red Dragon), and Episode 5 of this game included a couple of characters that were termed as characters from the original RPG games and may have really been incarnations of said characters.

So in term - what makes a Phantasy Star game? The game style, peppy sci-fantasy with laser guns laser swords, and technical-magic, and a sprinking of names/concepts from the series past. For the most part, they do connect to eachother. The are their continuity. PSO1 is its continuity, together with the strong implication PSZero a part of it, but it is possible it may be its continuity too. PSU/PSP/PSP2 are their own continuity. PSO2/PSNova are their own joys. It is a series that shares conceptual components, sort of in the same way Final Fantasy will I assumed.

Not so much a reincarnated character, only a character by precisely the same name that has some similar overlapping roots to preceding"Mother" characters in the show... I may have details wrong here, but the demanding jist of those recaps is all about right... I think that the Mother (Brain) from Phantasy Star II is a generation of a race of"Earthmen" people, designed to pso2 sales control the starsystem's resources including the fairly Earth-like Palm, but is eventually tainted by Dark Falz/Force. Under her opinion, Palm ends up becoming destroyed by colliding with a satellite.
