Lastly, Tier five includes temporary workforce related to sporting and creative positions, religious workers, charity, etc. Moreover, the short-term visas are mostly fall under the Tier 5 whereas most long-term visas are categorised under the Tier 2.

The employees who plan to join work in the UK should apply for the appropriate visa at least three months before such joining. The processing of the UK Work visa application can take up to 3 weeks. The application can be made at an application centre or can even be done online through the website- UK Home Visas and Immigration Services.
