The Indian Premier League 2020 is ending this November and just like its previous seasons, this year also brought many new young players into the big league. You can expect these players to make an appearance in the next season as well.
So, let us take a closer look at the top 5 players many teams will be eyeing in the next year IPL auction:

Devdutt Padikkal:

This 20 year Royal Challengers Bangalore player has scored 472 runs, which includes five half-centuries in just 14 innings. All these runs came at an outstanding strike rate of over 125.
He even became the first player to score 3 fifties in his first four matches. Padikkal didn’t stop there, he even managed to score the fastest 1000 T20 runs by an Indian batsman breaking the record of legendary Sachin Tendulkar.
In his final game against Delhi Capitals, Padikkal scored his 5th fifty of the season, becoming the only batsmen score 5 fifty-plus scores in his first season.

Ravi Bishnoi:

Ravi Bishnoi was the highest wicket-taker in the under 19 cricket world cup. He also had a great debut in this year's IPL under KXIP. He was able to grab 12 wickets in his 14 innings and without a doubt, he was a force to be reckoned with.
With his amazing performance, we picked the wickets of Jonny Bairstow, David Warner, Aaron Finch, Rishabh Pant, Eoin Morgan, and more. His bowling action is similar to legendary Anil Kumble and kept the batsmen in check using googlies, flippers, and top-spinners.

Ruturaj Gaikwad:

This season only a few good things came out of CSK camp and one of them was Ruturaj Gaikwad. This 23-year-old batsmen played only 6 matches but still managed to score 204 runs with an average of 51 runs. This total includes three half-centuries, which allowed CSK to regain some of their lost pride before the end of the tournament.
He even got praise from the former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni. In the next auction, many teams will be keeping an eye on him.

Shubman Gill:

The only consistent player for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020, Gill scored 440 runs in his 14 innings with an average of 33.84 runs. He also scored 3 half-centuries, which brings him to a total of 13 so far. Although KKR failed to qualify for the playoffs, but the innings played by Gill kept them in the competition till the end.  Because of his consistent performance, Gill was picked for the Test and ODI squads for the upcoming Australia tour 2020-21.

Arshdeep Singh:

The medium pacer from Kings XI Punjab was another player that impressed many this season. Although he picked only 9 wickets in eight matches, this 6-foot 3 inches tall bowler showed great promise as picked wickets of Rohit Sharma, Andre Russel, and Manish Pandey.

This young medium-fast bowler remained under the shadow of Chris Jordan and Mohammed Shami, this 21-year old bowler still made his presence felt in the matches he played. Singh was able to bag 3 crucial wickets in a match against SRH, where they were defending a small total of 127 runs. With a performance like this, you surely expect to see him in the next season of IPL.
