If you don’t want to play a usual online card game but a more thrilling variant of poker, then four card poker is the game for you. There are card games online that needs a presence of mind, skill, and strategy. Though the rules of the game are comfortable, even the overall aim game is also same as other forms of poker, which is to make the best hand possible hand, but in this game, you need to win against the dealer.

How to play four card poker

To play this game, you need to wager on the Ante or Aces. Firstly, the dealer gives five cards to you and gives himself six cards, and one of these six cards is kept in face-up on the table. The Four Card Poker involves an optional side bet on the table too. You can play it just like three card poker, but the difference is that in three Card Poker, you must equal the Ante player, but in 4 card poker you can bet up to the amount three times the Ante, that is placed by the other players in the game.

The objective of the game is to make the best four-card poker hand, which needs to be higher in the rank of at least equal to the dealer’s hand rank. To play against the dealer, you have to make an ante bet. You will get five cards facedown, and then you can either fold your hand and bet high or remain in the game and bet, as per the other players in the game.

You can play against the dealer by making an Ante wager though you may also Ace up to play against the table. Each player gets five cards to make the best hand. You need to discard one card. Then, decide whether you want to play the hand or give up. Then, the dealer reveals his hand. If many players have good hands, they all get a bonus.

Though the name says four card poker, you get five cards to make the best possible four card hand. Your hand will be compared to the dealer’s hand, and if there happens a tie between a player and dealer, then both will win. But if you hold a high-value hand, then both the dealer and the player will win the bonus. The amount will depend on the value of the wager. If the player’s hand has a pair of aces or higher pair, then the player will win the game.
