Pedagogy of Teaching and The Paras World School

The students of India have been victimized to rote learning culture where students are taught to crack an entrance or score better marks than someone else. This is nothing but a stereo type vision which will give birth to robots that can answer all the questions within the syllabus but any diversion from it can be disastrous. Well, we don’t want our “future generation” to be just like those machines. We need the system to go through tremendous improvement. Who will start this revolution though? I bet no other body but a school if starts this renaissance of education in our country, the day will not be far when we will not have brain drain to other countries.

A handful of students stay back in the nation because of better remuneration. Who will talk about development of the country? This is what I have been trying to refer to, the word Development is a myth unless the youth and educated individuals feel the need for so in India. There are many social and economic factors governing this education system. Trust me! No one cares to change. Everyone follows the same route.

Following a different route that has not been travelled is what needs to be engraved in the minds of the youth. To my surprise, The Paras World School has in a very short span of time, touched upon these major obstacles to education system by following a teaching pedagogy that talks about developing a mind to develop the humanity. It seems they are the ardent believer in the words of Robert Frost who talked about two roads, one travelled and the other not travelled much. He chose to walk the less travelled one and brought the difference to the society. Had he not opted for that path, who would have known him as one of the greatest Litterateur?

Every school should follow teaching pedagogy to the T so that the procedure helps in getting the final result. No Math could be solved with a formula; no English could be written without Grammar, in the similar manner, no teaching will bear the desired result without the proven pedagogy. Paras World School has set an example for other schools to follow certain principles that can prove Gem’s worth if adhered to.

Besides academic excellence, one educational institution should follow the methodologies that will eventually develop skills. I bet if you ask an examination question to majority of the students after the exam is over, hardly will anyone be able to answer promptly. That is the major loophole. Same traits can be boring, can’t they?

Every school and institutions imparting education to learners should ensure that education is understood not memorized. This barrier needs to break in order to show the light of change and guide the world towards a powerful country.
