Nokia 4.2 Review: Has It All Smartphone

Regaining the belief and generating credibility amongst the smartphone users in the current market where the competition is very high than any other IT sectors and to take on this humungous task Nokia has successfully emerged from its dark phase where it has lost the high number of its loyal customers. The reason attributed for coming into talks once again is the initiation of same dormant belief which was amongst the people about Nokia, very similar to Alto 800 being called car of the country, and in same fashion Nokia phones being said as the phones of the country. Since the emergence of Nokia with Android OS it has attracted lots of customers and it is still continuing to deepen its roots with various varied number of smartphones. With its latest launch of Nokia 4.2 the company is going to further heat up the budget range section market where the heaviest focus of every smartphone companies is. So let’s check out whether the Nokia 4.2 has the ability to emerge favorite in budget range section or not.

Design

The new Nokia 4.2 sports bold uni color look which has an aesthetic appeal attached to it. The variant which we got had black color. The device has compact body size which fits the palm very easily and comfortable to hold. At the front lies 5.7 inch screen and above the screen the company has chosen to go with trendy water drop notch to provide more screen space and the notch holds the selfie camera in it.  The back side of the phone has dual rear camera sensor followed by LED flash within one frame and below the camera frame lies the fingerprint sensor which has very quick response time. At the top side of the phone lies a 3.5mm headphone jack whereas at the bottom lies micro USB port and speakers. The left side of the phone is sporting SIM tray capable of holding two SIM cards and a microSD card at the same time. Also at the right side lies Google assistant button. At the right side of the phone lies the volume rockers and the power button. The power button is very unique as it flashes while charging giving a distinct identity to the phone.

Display

Nokia 4.2 has 5.71 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen and 16M colors with the screen to body ratio of 76.6%. The screen offers wide viewing angles and it is because of the aspect ratio of the screen which is 19:9 and this is something in the budget range section making Nokia 4.2 to have an upper hand over other budget range phones. The colors produced are vivid and punchy and are bright and has one of the brightest screen under the budget range. The phone has screen resolution of 720×1520 pixels and has 295ppi density. The screen is protected by 2.5D curved glass.
