Hyderabad’s real estate developers say that most home buyers are now asking for additional benefits— from a higher rate of discount to refund schemes if they wish to withdraw the deal in the future. Another common request is relaxation in payment schedules.

Online property search is going up all over the country but buyers are not willing to spend too much, according to a survey. The survey titled ‘Property Buyer’s Sentiment Survey’ was an online survey that was conducted post lockdown.

The survey also revealed that respondents say they will cut the budget for property buying or villas for sale in Hyderabad. Further, out of the total respondents planning to cut the budget, most of them were looking to cut their budget by more than 25%.

Homebuyers Seeking to cut budget by 20-30%

• 75% of respondents say they will cut budget for property
• 25% will stick to their pre-Covid budget
• 5% will allocate more money to buy a home

Buyers Seeking bargains
About 65% of respondents said that they would like to go with any developer to buy 2bhk flats for sale in Hyderabad who is offering economical options, regardless of the name or reputation of the developer.

With the increased risk of delay in the completion of housing projects due to the COVID-19 outbreak, prospective home buyers want to purchase properties from reputed builders and government authorities only. Property consultants in Hyderabad say that COVID-19 has changed buyer likings with more people now favoring risk-free investments. Prospective buyers like to buy a home from leading developers such as N K Realtors with least project execution risks even if the property is relatively higher-priced.
