New methods to prevent youth crime will be applied in Kokand

The head of the 1st sector, Kokand City Mayor Maruf Usmanov took part in a meeting held at the Kokand School of Professions and Crafts, dedicated to the prevention of crime among the youth.

At the meeting, which was held with the participation of sector leaders, employees of the internal affairs bodies, activists of makhallas, pupils and school teachers, tasks were determined on the issues of eliminating the causes leading to the commission of crimes by young people, ensuring their active leisure, involving them to professions and crafts, providing jobs to school graduates, the development of entrepreneurship among them, involvement in sports and physical education, the promotion of reading books and the development of information technologies, the promotion of the ideas of law-abidingness and patriotism among young people.
